Interactive Panoramas

Interactive panoramas represent one of our exciting new media services. These panoramas are viewed on a personal computer and offer a unique visual experience where users can interactively explore a scene. Images come alive as viewers can move in any direction or zoom in for a closer look using a mouse and keyboard. This ability to navigate within an image creates an impression that one has been transported to a different location. Desktop virtual reality!

We create interactive panoramas using a megapixel digital camera and special "stitching" software. The resulting panoramas are available in two standard file formats:

  • Live Picture's IVR format
  • Apple Computer's QuickTime VR format

We optimize the panorama size and resolution for delivery via:

  • Internet
  • CD-ROMs
  • Floppy disks
